This might not be one of your favorite things to do.. I know it is not my favorite. But it is important to stay healthy. To stay healthy you need to exercise. So I try to do it at least once a week and now since the summer is coming and I want to be in shape I do a few exercises every day. And to my surprise I am actually doing them every day. Usually I give up after a week or 2 since I find it boring or not challenging enough. But this time it worked. I will give you my schedule as to what I do every day. It is for 30 days and after these 30 days are finished I make a new schedule with new exercises to keep it fun.
If you make your own schedule always make sure to give yourself some rest days to give your body the rest that it needs. I give myself 1-2 days of a week. Usually Thursdays, since I have a yoga class on that day and sometimes an extra day if I feel like I need to.
If you don’t know what kind of sports would suit you, I’d say try as many as you can and find one you like. I, myself have tried multiple sports aver since I was little.
I took swimming lessons for 3 years and even joined a team for a year before it became boring. After that I did track and field for a year and found out that it was not made for me. Then I stated dancing . I did that for about 6 years and I tried out different styles within those years. Then I went abroad for a year and I stopped dancing and sports all together. I still road my bike to school, I lived in a place with a lot of hills. But apart from cycling I didn’t do much so soon enough I noticed that I couldn’t run as before and that I became tired from even doing small things. So when I came back from my year abroad I started to exercise again. And now I feel fit again. I don’t have a muscled body or anything but I feel good about myself and I think that is important.
So if you want to exercise and feel good about yourself than do it. But remember you must enjoy what you do otherwise you will give up before you can see the effects. Also something that will help you motivated is to set a goal. For example if you want to start running register yourself for a local run like that is short like 5k and start training for that. It will keep you motivated and if you manage to do it, it will feel rewarding to. If you want to have a goal but you don’t know what kind of goal you should use, you can always give yourself the goal of ‘’if I finish keep up with this for 30 days I will buy myself this thing that I have wanted for some time now.
Now I will show you what kind of exercise equipment I have at home to help me fulfill my goals.
I hope this will keep you motivated to exercise cause I know how boring it can get. If you know yourself and think I don’t have the discipline to do this every time you can always enroll in a gym class and maybe that will stimulate you to go.
