my brush stash

This week I would like to share all of my brushes with you. I do not have as much as some other bloggers. But I mostly like to use the ones I like. And I than see no use buying other brushes.

Let’s start off with my face brushes. From left to right.

The white on is the 159. Contour blusher brush from hema ( a Dutch brand). I normally use this for its purpose: blush.

The first orange brush is the pointed foundation brush from real techniques. Which I use for applying  concealer under my eyes and around my nose.

The second orange brush is the contour brush from real techniques. Which I use for applying bronzer.

The last orange brush is the buffing brush from real techniques which I use for my powder and sometimes to blend the concealer that’s covering some red spots.

The pink brush is the stippling brush that I bought in America. It is from real techniques and I use it to apply my foundation.

Let’s move on to the eyeshadow brushes.

The two black ones on the left, I bought them in Japan. The packaging said shisedo but from the quality I think they are fakes. But they are okey in use.

The white one is a h&m eye shadow brush. It is one of my favorites.

The next two yellow ones. Are from a brand called chasty. I bought these also in Japan and these are also ones that I like to use when applying eyeshadow.

The last on is 202 blending eyeshadow brush form hema. It is not the best out there. So I am still looking for a new one but for now it is something I can work with. If you have any suggestion for a good blending brush please let me know in the comment section below.

Now the eyebrow and lip.

The black with the tilted end is an Yves Rocher brush. I use it to do my brows. I am thinking about buying a second one for eyeliner.

The comb speaks for itself. It doesn’t have a brand since it came in a suitcase when I started my make-up course.

The orange real techniques. Is the detailer brush. I sometimes use it to apply lipstick or concealer around my mouth to make my lips look perfect. But otherwise I don’t use it that much.

For last I have a few brushes that I don’t really use anymore. So I keep them for when my cousins come over and they want to play with some make up. I give them these brushes so they don’t ruin my good ones.

The silver one on the left is a powder brush from etos (a Dutch pharmacy). I bought it a long time ago as one of my first brushes ever. I don’t think I would buy it again since there are a lot of better brushes out there, but as a starter it was okey.

The yellow one is a chasty brush. I bought this when I was in Japan and was in need for a brush to apply my foundation with. I really liked this one and used it for about a year before the hairs started to come off.

The pink one is a brush I bought in a Japanese dollar store. Thinking back now, I have no idea why I bought it. Since it is really bad. You can’t apply anything with it and it only ruins your make up since the hairs are way too stiff. So a tip never buy a make-up brush in a Dollar store.

Hope you enjoyed reading this.

See you next time.
