Again a product form etude house. This time it is the sweet
recipe cupcake all over color. I have this in the color PK002 Strawberry
Chiffon cake.
This product makes me kind of confused. It is supposed to be
for both your lips and as a blusher. I like the idea of having 1 product for
multiple purposes. But the product
itself makes me confused. It is not a
powder it is not a liquid form, it is something different. I can really put my
finger on it. It is something like Vaseline but still different. The color does come of pigmented. So be careful.
On my lips this looks like a nice natural color. It does wear
off within 2 hours or so but it is nice. It actually smells nice to. A bit
sweet, so I kind of get the urge to lick my lips to see if it tastes sweet too.
As a blusher it is a bit harder to use. You need to take you
time with this product. I applied it in dots first with my fingers since it is
impossible to use a brush. Then I tried to divide it with my fingers. This was
hard to do since to product refused to work with me. In the end I got it spread
out a bit and used a buffer brush to blend it in, since there were quite a few
lines made by my fingers. This worked and gave it a nice look. The color once
spread out is quite natural, so don’t expect anything bright from this product
like the color it is in the packaging.
| It is hard to see in the picure but in real life the color seems brighter |
Overall all I like this. I need a lot of time when I am
using this product, so I won’t use it on a daily basis. The packaging however
is something I would like to show off. It is just so cute and it kind of makes
me want to eat cupcakes. Haha. I will use this product happily in the future.
The product can be bought here ( not the exact same color)
See you next time,
Leonie
