Essence 04. On the catwalk

 

This lipstick is from a budget brand that can be found in Europe and some specific stores in the rest of the world. But nevertheless I wanted to tell you about this lipstick.

 

This lipstick only costs 2,39€. That is the cheapest lipstick that I have seen in such a nice package. The actual product only contains 3.8 grams (0.13oz), that doesn’t differ much from other lipsticks.

Looking at the packaging and especially the colored ring near the opening, you would thing that it is a a lightly dark red color. But once opened the color does not match that color at all. The actual color is more of reddish purple color in my eyes. Definitely not the one from the ring on the outside. I think it would have been better if the ring on the outside was the same color as the lipstick itself. That would make getting the right lipstick a lot easier.

The texture is quite soft and creamy. Applying becomes really easy with this lipstick. The pigmentation is also really good. The coverage is not perfect but by building the lipstick you can achieve better coverage. Even when you make a mistake and use a q-tip to correct the lipstick doesn’t smutch.

The lipstick stays on your lips for about 1-3 hours depending on how much you eat.  But what did you expect for such a low price

 

 

This product is really good for the price you pay. I expected a lot worse. If you want to try out new colors that you don’t know of if they look good on you, buy one of such a cheap brand. This one was definitely not a waste of money.
