essie; all tied up

 

This week I did some beauty shopping and bought various new items. In the upcoming weeks I will show you reviews of what I have bought. Today I am starting off with a nail polish.

 

You might not believe it but this is my first Essie nail polish I have ever had. I decided to go for an everyday nude color since I already have a lot of brighter colors. I chose the ‘’All tied up’’ polish.

The color actually reminds me of a lipstick I already have called 12. Marron glace from yves rocher. When I put those 2 together,, they were very similar. So I already like this color just because I can match it with the same color lipstick.

The coverage is really well. Even with just 1 layer it looks really good. But to make sure everything was covered I used 2 layers to paint my nails.

I also like the pot it comes in. It is a simple but recognizable nail polish.

Although the color in the pot and the actual color on my nails differ slightly, it still seems like the same color. The color on my nail is slightly darker than the one you can see in the package.

 

The applicator is really easy to use. It is neither too small or too big, it is just the perfect size for my small nails.

Overall I am really happy with this nail polish. Even the duration is something to be happy about with it already staying on my nails for nearly a week and still looking good. I am sure I will try more essie nail polishes in the future. Even the price of 9,99€ is something I think worthy of paying for this product.
