Kate moss lipstick

A while ago I bought this lipstick from the Kate moss line from Rimmel London.

It is a bright red color in the shade 10. Rosetto. Even while swatching it the pigmentation astonished me. It was so good. It felt creamy and soft. That was immediately also its downfall I noticed. It didn’t stay in place at all.

 

Everything I ate or drank had a lipstick mark. I constantly felt conscious whether my lipstick was still in place or if it had smutched. I constantly went to a mirror to check. And yes sometimes it had smutched.

 

But nevertheless when I got to my room at night after a long day I was surprised to see that my lips were still red. It was something I had not expected. The color was still there, not as bright as in the morning but still visible.  

So even though I was not that happy with how my first day had gone wearing that lipstick, I decided to try again. Only this time I used some trick to stop your lipstick from leaving marks. Sadly it didn’t work. Whenever I ate or drank something there was once again a lipstick mark. But the lipstick did last all they again.

 

So even though I don’t think this lipstick is suited as an everyday lipstick. Not just because of its bright color, but also because I don’t want to fear that every time I take a sip of water my lipstick will be smutched. I still think it is a pretty lipstick. It is perfect for a formal occasion, where you don’t have to eat or drink that much. And some place where you have the time to check your lipstick. I think I might get some other colors from this brand too, since they are really pretty.
