This eyeshadow palette came in a beauty box I purchased a while ago.
When first looking at it seems like a perfect palette for a Smokey
eye look. So I went on swatching. To be honest I was quite disappointed with
the swatches. The colors were not pigmented and there was barley any differences
in tints. The only color I was really happy about was the glitter in the
middle.
When I went in to make an look with this palette. I was
happier with the colors as they did leave color on my eyes. But still the color
difference between the colors is not that great. I tried layering which helped
a bit but it was still not the result I hoped for.
Especially the black color disappointed me as it turned out
to be more of a grey color than black. But once again the glitter color from
the middle worked the best.
If I ever use this palette again I will probably just use
the middle color since the rest just didn’t do it for me. I don’t think I will
use this palette much in the future and hope to find a better palette in these
colors.
