etude house BB cream

This is a product that I have wanted to try for so long now. It is my first Asian BB cream. This is from the Precious cover bright line in the color 2 light beige. This line comes in 3 different shades. In my opinion they are light shades. I think I got the lightest shade.

The packaging seems simple. It is made of plastic and the design is also simple.

First of all I had some trouble when opening the bb cream. I had to squeeze hard to get some product out. Once the first bit came out all of a sudden a lot came out. So for me i
t was hard to get the right amount of product.
The color matches my skin tone. I do have to say that I am quite pale and that I was surprised that the shade actually match my skin. It might be because the coverage is medium that the color matches. I do recommend using a concealer with this bb cream since it is not full coverage. It covers up some of the redness but big spots are still visible.
At first the bb cream looked really cakey on my face. Especially up close and even for further away you could just see that the bb cream was on my face. I used different methods to apply it but it always looked cakey. I do have to say that after a couple of hours the bb cream did not look cakey at all. I thought it had worn off. I was wrong when cleaning my face at night I realized all the bb cream was still on my face only it had finally melted with my skin. So weirdly enough the bb cream looks better at the end of the day than at the beginning.  That’s something new.

So this bb cream is full of surprises. The dosing is a bit of and the fact that the end of the day looks better than the beginning are things I will have to get used to. I do think that I will completely use this bb cream in the summer since it is light and the duration is good. I don’t think I will buy it again cause I think there are better bb creams out there.

See you next time,

Leonie
