etude house masks

I tried 3 types of masks that I found in a korean store. Each masks has it own function and I want to see which one works best for me and whether they do what they promise.

 hyaluronic mask

This mask promises to moisturize your skin. After I took the mask of I used it to swipe it across my neck and arms for some extra hydration in those places. I was surprised that the sewum was stuck to my face. The sheet felt a bit dry and the serum was for 80% on my face. For an hour or so my skin kept on feeling sticky. On the masks itself it said to gently massage the left over serum into your skin. I tried that but I felt that all was doing was move the serum around. So I just left it there to set into my skin by itself. After a while when my skin absorbed the serum and it felt so soft. It even felt really hydrated. This is one that I really liked.

Mango
You can smell the perfume coming from this mask the moment you get it out of its packaging. It promises to nut.... and firm your face. Well the firmning is not something I noticed. My skin did not feel tightner after using this. I felt moisturized for sure but firm, no not really. This mask is nice for a relaxing moment but if you want it to do what it says it will do, then this is not the mask you are looking for.

Pearl
This mask felt a lot less sticky on my skin. I like how the smell is not to strong with this masks. It does have a little bit of a smell but it is nowhere near as strong as the mango one. I didn't really notice the brightning effect. All I saw was a little bit of an event out skin tone. But I really liked this one.

I think my favorite of these masks is the pearl mask. It feels natural and doesn't smell strong. It is for me perfect to enjoy a bit of relaxing time. But the other ones are also doing their jobs. None of these masks are bad, I think everyone would like at least one of these. It is such a wide range. I don't feel like what is written on the packaging will neseccarly happen. All masks moisturize and feed my skin to an extend that I like. So this is a recommendation from me if you don't feel like making a mask with the traditional masks. Just take a simple sheet mask.

See you next time,
Leonie
